Community Garage Sale

OPEN- Need a volunteer

Holiday Decorating

Katrina Lindahl

The Volunteer is responsible for organizing the annual Riverside yard sale held the 2nd Saturday in August.  This includes encouraging residents to participate, creating and distributing maps and coordinating advertising.

Halloween Decorating

Pamela Lynn

This volunteer organizes the advertising, judging of the Halloween decorations, notifying winners and putting out signs, announcing winners and taking pictures.  Also prints and distributes certificates for winners.

This volunteer organizes encouraging residents to decorate, judging the Holiday decorations, notifying winners and putting out signs, arranging for prizes for winners.

National Night Out

OPEN- Need Volunteer

This volunteer works with a committee to plan and staff National Night Out.  This includes working with the City, coordinating vendors, planning kids activities and managing publicity.

Park Liaison

Katrina Lindahl

This person works with the Parks department regarding our parks, suggests improvements/projects and provides communication to and from RNA.

Welcome Committee

Open

This Volunteer coordinates the creation of a Welcome packet, finds out who is new to the neighborhood and arranges for the packets to be delivered.

Senior Yard Help

Open

This volunteer organizes getting volunteers and matching them with seniors who need yard care.  This can be a one time event or multiple events throughout the year.

Prizes for meetings

Open

This volunteer gets donations that can be used to give away to RNA meetings as a surprise gift to someone attending.

Home of Excellence of the Month

Scott Bader

This Volunteer organizes the selection of a home that has great curb appeal or has been remodeled on a regular basis, takes pictures, places sign on the property and announces winner.

Council of Neighborhoods Representative

Two positions- Pamela Lynn and Linden Kimbrough

These volunteers represent RNA on the Council of Neighborhoods.  There is one regular position and one alternate. Click here to learn more about the Council and apply to be on the Council.

Little Free Library- Garfield Park

OPEN

This volunteer keeps up the Little Free Library by making sure it looks good on the outside and checks the books every once in a while.

Board Positions

Any resident of Riverside can be a Board Member

The Board oversees the running of RNA and coordinates all events/projects.

Chair

Rolf Vitous

The Chair is the executive officer of the RNA , represents the RNA to communicate/facilitate cooperation with other neighborhood associations, City of Everett, Washington State, and the United States of America. The Chair presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors and all RNA meetings, taking an active part in their deliberations.

Supports the chair and presides at neighborhood meetings in the chairs absence.

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for the funds of RNA and provides financial reports to RNA and the Board.
